Bryan Eckenrode

Bryan Eckenrode is a graduate of SUNY at Stony Brook and holds a Master of Music degree from SUNY at Buffalo.  He is currently principal cello with the Western New York Chamber Orchestra and Southern Tier Symphony.  Mr. Eckenrode has performed with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, with Ars Nova, and as principal cellist of the British Columbia Mozart Festival Orchestra.  He is a member of the Lexington String Quartet, and the chamber groups Voci D’Amore and Camerata.

Mr. Eckenrode is conductor and music director of the Warren Philharmonic Orchestra and the Chautauqua Regional Youth Symphony, the Prelude Strings Orchestra, and the Young Artists Orchestra of Jamestown.  He is an adjunct professor at Canisius College and Jamestown Community College.

Nicholas DelBello

Nicholas DelBello maintains an active schedule as a trumpeter, pianist, organist, conductor, and educator.  This is Mr. DelBello’s fifth season as the founding music director of the Buffalo Brass Choir, a professional brass and percussion ensemble.

In addition to his engagement with the GSO, Mr. DelBello will be a guest conductor with the Amherst Symphony Orchestra and the Chautauqua All County Brass Ensemble this season. In the past, he has been a cover or guest conductor for the Southern Tier Symphony Orchestra, the Southern Tier Chamber Strings, and the Freudig Singers of Western New York.

Mr. DelBello holds a bachelors degree from SUNY Fredonia and a masters degree from the University of Miami. He is a full time music instructor in the Buffalo Public Schools and an adjunct faculty member at Villa Maria College and Canisius College. Mr. DelBello serves as director of music at Blessed Trinity Church in Buffalo.
